Therefore, the use of bath products, oils, etc. with personal tastes is prohibited. Please note that you will be charged for damages! Please enjoy the unique scent of the tree:)[Smoking]As it is a wooden building, it is vulnerable to fire. Smoking is absolutely prohibited in the entire house, including the yard.[No parties]This is not a party room.If you find party supplies, pearl powder, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee.[Consideration of residential areas]Due to the nature of hanok, it is vulnerable to soundproofing. Most of the residents in Hanok Village are actually residents. For the daily life of the neighbors, please refrain from making noise after 9pm.[Possibility of bug infestation]We are thoroughly disinfecting, but due to the nature of a hanok with a yard, bugs may enter from the outside. If you are accompanied by an infant or sensitive to bugs, be sure to! Please take this into consideration!![Parking]There is no parking space. Most restaurants and tourist attractions in Bukchon Hanok Village do not have enough parking spaces, so we recommend using public transportation. :)Paid parking: Use the Jeongdok Library parking lot or the Hyundai Complex parking lot.Registration DetailsRegion of Issuance: 서울특별시, 종로구License Type: 한옥체험업License Number: 제 2023-000025

About Seoul

Seoul holds the largest share of boutique hanok stays in Korea. Three neighborhoods — Bukchon, Seochon, Ikseon-dong — each offer a distinct density and pace. Most properties sleep 2–4 guests. Peak-season booking lead time is 3–4 weeks.

Booking Tips

  • Stayfolio has the widest curated selection. Butler Lee manages 40+ hanoks and offers hands-on property matching. Airbnb covers most but not all listings.
  • Book 3–4 weeks ahead for April (cherry blossom) and October (fall foliage). Hanoks are small and fill fast.
  • Most Seoul hanoks sleep 2–4. For groups of 5+, target Muwolgwan (10-guest) or The Chae: Courtyard (10-guest).
  • Ondol (heated floors) is standard. Traditional hanoks use floor bedding; renovated hanoks often have beds. Confirm before booking.
  • Rakkojae is the top tier: tea ceremony, hanbok, cultural programming included.
