1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you"), and Sound Thought LLC, doing business as the media brand SelectBNBs ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the selectbnbs.com website and any related subdomains, applications, or services (collectively, the "Site").

By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Site immediately.

2. Nature of Services

SelectBNBs is a media publisher and affiliate marketer focused on travel accommodation. The Site serves as a curated directory and media platform and may also offer services sold directly by the Company.

• We are curators. We do not own, manage, operate, or control any of the properties listed on the Site. Listings are selected editorially and presented for informational purposes.
• We are not an agent. We are not a party to any rental, booking, or financial transaction between you and any property owner, host, or booking platform. We do not act as an agent, broker, or insurer for any user or host. This does not apply to services SelectBNBs sells directly, such as the Paid Advisor Consultation described in Section 2A, for which Sound Thought LLC is the seller of record.
• No guarantees. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, pricing, or quality of any listed property. Information may change without notice on the underlying booking platforms.

2A. Paid Advisor Consultations

SelectBNBs sells a private video consultation with a local travel advisor ("Advisor Call"), followed by a personal written trip brief. Unlike the property directory described in Section 2, the Advisor Call is a direct paid service sold by Sound Thought LLC, and Sound Thought LLC is the seller of record for the purchase.

• Informational service. The advisor's recommendations, opinions, and trip brief are provided for general informational purposes. They are not travel-agency services, bookings made on your behalf, or guarantees of pricing, availability, safety, or suitability. You are responsible for verifying details and completing bookings directly with the relevant provider or platform.
• Payment. Payment is processed by Stripe in U.S. dollars. We do not receive or store your full card number. Your card statement should identify the charge with SELECTBNBS and ADVISOR; exact punctuation and spacing can vary by bank.
• Scheduling. After payment, you choose an available call time through the booking page linked from your confirmation email.
• Rescheduling, cancellations, and no-shows. You may reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before your scheduled call for a full refund. Inside 24 hours of the call, we can move your appointment to another time. If you miss the call, we will offer you an opportunity to rebook. If you do not respond to that rebooking offer within 30 days, the payment is forfeited and no refund or further rebooking is due. Refunds, when applicable, are issued to the original payment method.
• Intake and preparation. Before your call, you can answer questions about your trip. Your answers are shared with your advisor so he can prepare for the conversation. The trip brief you receive afterward is written and delivered by your advisor.
• Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase an Advisor Call.

3. Affiliate Disclosure

The Site contains affiliate links and may publish paid property features or advertisements. We may receive compensation for bookings, production, or placement. Commercial relationships may affect placement and the prominence of booking options, but they do not determine whether a property qualifies for SelectBNBs. Paid features and advertisements are disclosed where they appear.

4. Intellectual Property

• Text and structured data. Automated agents may access, index, quote, summarize, transform, train on, and commercially use the public text and structured data made available by the Site. Attribution to SelectBNBs is requested where practical. This permission does not grant rights to SelectBNBs trademarks, site design, or code.
• Property imagery. Property images may be AI-edited by SelectBNBs from third-party visual references. SelectBNBs claims no ownership or copyright in the underlying images and grants no license or assurance for image reuse. Rights in underlying photography, architecture, and third-party trademarks remain with their respective rights holders.

5. User Conduct

By using the Site, you agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
• Use automated systems in a way that evades technical controls, disrupts the Site, or materially degrades access for others.
• Attempt to interfere with or compromise the integrity or security of the Site.
• Impersonate the Company or misrepresent your affiliation with the Company.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will the Company, its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable to you for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We expressly disclaim liability for the safety, legality, quality, or accuracy of any property listed, or any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss resulting from your booking or stay at any listed property.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Third-Party Links

The Site contains links to third-party websites and services that are not owned or controlled by the Company. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. You acknowledge and agree that the Company shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any such third-party content or services.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. You and Sound Thought LLC agree that any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas. This clause applies regardless of your physical location or country of origin.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
