A “no match” result means SelectBNBs did not identify a matching permit record in the data searched. It does not establish that the stay is illegal. Before drawing a conclusion, check what you pasted, the coverage of the search and whether the host can clarify the registration details.
1. Copy the whole Registration details box
Return to the exact Airbnb listing you intend to book. Look for Registration details, often near Things to know. Labels and placement can vary. Copy every line in that box, including the issuing region, licence type and licence number. Keep the Korean text as shown; you do not need to translate it first.
A short number on its own may not identify one business. Local numbers can repeat, and the government record may use a longer management number. Copying the surrounding details gives the search more information to work with. Do not substitute a number from a different listing, even if the same host manages both.
2. Check the copied text on your phone or computer
On a phone, press and hold the registration text. Where selection is available, move the selection handles to include every line, then tap Copy. Use Select all only if it selects that registration block. If the app will not let you select text, try opening the listing in your browser or ask the host to send the full block as text.
On a computer, drag across the registration block and copy it with the keyboard shortcut or right-click menu. Paste it into Verify and check that the first and last lines are both present. For this registration check, paste the full block rather than only a listing URL or a message addressed to the host. A screenshot cannot be pasted as searchable text.

3. Ask the host about this specific listing
If you still get no match, ask the host to clarify rather than guessing a Korean business name or address. Use their reply to compare the exact listing with the registered business. If the names differ, ask how the listing and registration relate. If an address is supplied, check that it describes the accommodation you are booking.

Hello, could you send the complete Registration details text for this Airbnb listing, including the issuing region, licence type and licence number? The lookup did not find a matching record. Could you also confirm the registered business name and address for this particular accommodation, and explain any difference from the listing? Thank you.
4. Read the result and its limits
Check the source date and covered permit categories. A missing result can reflect incomplete input, a name difference, a category outside coverage or a record awaiting an update. A temporary data error is different from a completed search with no match. If the data is unavailable, try again later.
When a permit is found, read the listing-match result separately. An active permit describes a registered business as of the source date; it does not by itself prove that the listing is that business, or guarantee the accommodation’s quality or safety. If the details still conflict, ask the host or issuing local authority to clarify before relying on the result.
