Alo and a traveler planning a Korea trip on a video call

He searches where locals search.

Korean maps, Korean reviews, the places English guides never reach. Tell us the trip you're picturing and we'll help you turn it into one you can't wait to take.

Bring your questions

Ask what the guidebooks won't tell you.

The things you'd ask a friend who lives there. Nothing is too small, and nothing is off limits.

  • Which neighborhood actually fits the trip I want?
  • Are these stays as good as their photos?
  • Where would you tell your own sister to stay?
  • Will a hanok work with the kids and my parents?

Solo, as a couple, or with the whole family. The conversation starts with you.

In their own words.

“Planning a trip to Korea felt overwhelming at first… Alo changed that.”

Planning a trip to Korea felt overwhelming at first. I was nervous about where to go and how to really immerse myself in the culture and not just hit those typical tourist spots. Alo changed that. He listened closely to what I wanted and helped me feel completely at ease, like someone genuinely cared about crafting the best possible experience for me. I wanted to go off the beaten path, to mingle with the locals and truly see, taste and hear the authentic side of Korea, and that's exactly what he delivered. Thanks to Alo, the planning was so easy and stress-free, and as a solo traveler I felt safe and supported, and I was in great hands the entire time. Ten out of ten, highly recommend.

What I really liked was how much clearer my Korea trip became after talking with Alo. He helped me understand not just where to go, but what each neighborhood actually feels like and what would suit me personally. I also loved hearing his little personal stories and local recommendations, because it made the whole experience feel very human and personal. It felt less like getting information from Google and more like talking to a local friend who actually knows Korea. Thank you, Alo.

And then what I really liked about him as well was… He's very efficient, but he's also very human. He brings in his small, kind of life anecdotes. I mean, they might be bigger as well, but small meaning he doesn't talk so long about it. He doesn't overtake the whole Zoom, right? But he does bring in, oh yeah, you know, when that happened or this happened, and it makes him so human and relatable. It's a fun Zoom call. And you feel good, you trust him, because you get to know him a little bit as well. Yeah, I really loved it.

After watching some reels and TikToks about Korea, I always wondered where to eat, what to explore, or what to do when planning my trip to Korea. Alo had all the answers to my questions. When I first traveled to Korea and met him, he showed me around his favorite tea and food places, and his recommendations were always spot on to my taste. Plus, he showed me some activities he knew I would enjoy, like visiting Gwangjang Market and trying some of the best food stalls, getting dressed in a hanbok, walking around Gyeongbokgung Palace, visiting a Buddhist temple in Busan with a breathtaking view of the whole city, going to Nami Island and enjoying the fresh air away from Seoul, and some good dakgalbi. Alo helped me have an amazing experience on my first trip to Korea, and I would like to share his service with you: how to navigate and have fun around Korea, like a real buddy would do.

“Sometimes you still end up with this huge list of ideas… That's where Alo really helped me.”

I found you can have all the trip planning tools and all the hundreds of saved posts from all the different social medias, but sometimes you still end up with this huge list of ideas and you just don't really know what to do with them. And that's where Alo really helped me. He gets to know what you're interested in, gives you suggestions that really suit you, helping you turn all those ideas into a trip that makes sense. And sometimes it's those little questions where having someone local to ask makes all the difference. Having Alo's advice has made me feel so much more confident about my trip and even more excited to finally get to Korea.

He listens to what you really like doing and then helps to make your experience perfect. His warmth, careful planning, humor and genuine care is something that no Google search could ever give you.

Common questions

Before you book.

Can you review the Korea itinerary I've already made?

Yes. Bring your itinerary or the stays you're choosing between. We'll talk through what fits your trip, what to keep and what to rethink. Your written plan gathers the advice from your conversation, with Korean names and useful links.

What if I haven't planned anything yet?

That's a good time to talk. Bring a date range, a few ideas, or just the questions on your mind. We'll help you work out where to start.

My trip is months away. Is it too early?

No. Talking early leaves the most room to book what you love. Choose any open time, even if you won't travel for months.

Is this only for solo travelers?

No. Bring the plans for your solo trip, your partner, your kids, or your parents. We'll talk through what works for everyone you're bringing.

Who will I speak with?

You'll speak with Alo from our team in Korea. He grew up here, still lives here, and searches in Korean the way locals do. Your call is in English and built around your trip. The videos above give you a feel for the conversation.
